Attorney Dietrich Karcher
Founder and owner of the firm with over 30 years of legal experience across civil law. After studying at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, he worked as an independent attorney with offices in Munich, Frankfurt am Main and Granada (Spain). Today he handles selected, already ongoing mandates. Advice in German, English and Spanish.

As an attorney focusing on family law in Frankfurt am Main, I have been admitted since 2010. The firm's ongoing mandate work is in my hands – for new enquiries I am your point of contact.
Civil law fascinated me even during my studies. The German Civil Code in particular, with its clear structure and legal logic.
How close to life this area of law is becomes especially clear in family law: in separation and divorce, questions from maintenance, property, real estate and inheritance law often interlock directly.
My legal career
- Studies & academia
First state examination with distinction at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. Several years as a research assistant at a legal chair of the university.
- Legal clerkship in Frankfurt
Placements at the Landgericht Frankfurt, the Amtsgericht Frankfurt (criminal and juvenile court) as well as in the legal department of the City of Frankfurt.
- Admitted as an attorney since 2010
Since then with a focus on family law.
What I stand for
I see every divorce not only as a legal procedure, but as a profound personal change.
