Contact

The first step is
a conversation.
Not a contract.

Write to us – confidentially and without obligation. Your enquiry sets nothing in motion that you do not want. You tell us about your situation, we listen and show you the next step.

  • Lawyer-client confidentiality
  • Enquire free of charge & without obligation
  • A reply usually within one working day

These three questions reach us almost every day:

What does a divorce cost?

The costs are based on the value of the proceedings, which follows from the net income of both spouses and their assets. Lawyer and court fees are set by statute on that basis (RVG and FamGKG). Our calculator gives you a reliable estimate for your situation in a minute.

Which documents do you need from me?

You need not prepare anything for the initial consultation. For the divorce petition we will later need, in essence, the marriage certificate, the birth certificates of any children you have together, and proof of income for both sides. We have compiled the full list as a folder to work through.

How does a divorce proceed?

In four steps: the year of separation, the divorce petition, the pension rights adjustment by the court, and the divorce hearing followed by legal effect. In an amicable divorce only one side needs to be legally represented. From petition to hearing usually takes four to twelve months.

Your situation is still your own – write and tell us what is on your mind.

Everything you write here is covered by lawyer-client confidentiality.

How would you like the consultation?

Rather get in touch directly?

Three routes – you choose what feels right.

Some prefer to write at their own pace, others reach for the phone. Both are equally welcome to us.
