Mieke Karcher

Admitted to the bar since 2010. Her career began in general civil law; over the years family law moved to the front until it became her focus. Today she handles uncontested and contested divorces, maintenance proceedings and the division of assets. Parental responsibility and contact are settled together with the divorce. Her particular interests are the einvernehmliche Scheidung (uncontested divorce), online divorce and divorces with an international dimension.

In Frankfurt am Main, she passed her First State Examination in law with distinction. Several years followed as a research assistant at a law chair of Goethe University Frankfurt, working on a legal history topic in family and inheritance law. Her legal clerkship took her to the Regional Court of Frankfurt, in the 19th Civil Chamber and the Chamber for Commercial Matters. After that came the Local Court of Frankfurt, with its criminal, juvenile and juvenile lay judges’ courts, and the legal office of the City of Frankfurt am Main. Today she appears before the same courts where she learned how proceedings work.
