How we work
Four things you can rely on
We say the unpleasant part first
If your prospects are poor, you hear it in the first conversation and not after the third brief.
A dispute is not the goal
Where an agreement is possible, we try to reach it. Where it has to go to court, we go to court.
No hourly rate
We bill under the statutory fee schedule, based on the value of the matter. A long phone call costs you nothing extra.
You know what is happening
Mail from the court is forwarded to you, with a sentence on what it means and whether you need to do anything.
What we do not do
When we are not the right fit
A small practice cannot do everything. We do not take on a case that falls outside our area or that we could not handle the way it would need.
Not our area
Criminal law, inheritance law, employment law, landlord and tenant law, traffic law. Tell us on the phone and you save yourself the appointment.
Conflicting interests
If the other side is already our client, we may not represent you. We check this before the appointment and tell you right away.
And if you feel after the first consultation that it is not the right fit: you are under no obligation.

The first step
An appointment is not a decision
60 minutes, at our office or by Zoom. You describe your situation, and we tell you what lies ahead. You are under no obligation to hire us afterwards.
Under § 34 RVG (German Lawyers’ Fees Act), the first consultation costs at most €226.10 including VAT. If we take on your case, this fee does not apply. How the fees are calculated
